Is Wenger pressing the self-destruct button ?

The loss at Everton is very hard to digest.I mean these are teams we should be beating. West Brom, Villa, West Ham..the list this season is long.Bolton and Chelsea are acceptable but not the other teams. I really dont know if any kind of excuse is good enough.
I am beginning to feel that Arsene Wenger is falling victim to his own ego.I have great admiration for the gaffer and i think he is a top notch coach. But, i think that he is trying to prove everyone wrong by playing all these kids. When everyone around him is asking for established players, he seems to be persisting with youngsters.
Playing Cesc all season long is not gonna prove a thing. We all know that he is class but he is not going to give you good performances all season long. He has been given money to shell,Why cant he go get Dacourt or Mascherano or someone who is proven at this level. diaby might be a great prospect but he s not a finished article by a country mile. The need of the hour is someone who can fit right into the scheme of things. The same can be said for Walcott and Adebayor.
I think it is high time that we go get experienced players at the key positions or else we have a strong chance of not seeing European football at the new stadium.
And for god s sake, Mr. Wenger...we have had enough. Get someone who stands at 10 feet and put him in the middle of the park. How u are going to do it with abt a week left is beyond me.

It seems Wenger would use the money he would get by selling Henry and Cole this summer to buy a new midfielder.

I am not willing to believe any of the storied that emanate from Spain. As far as i am concerned Laporta is a bastard and he uses newspapers like the Sport to create commotion in the oppositon camp. I d rather have someone like perez who speaks his mind out and says that he s after such and such players. He may not have been very clever with his signings but at least he is frank.

Hmm...agreed Laporta wasn't being sensible when talked about bringing Henry and I would rather see a top-class defender instead of Henry in Barca. Howeber, if u knew Perez better, u wouldn't say that...Perez created such a big commotion when he openly talked abt bringing Figo. Being frank, he has only created more problems among the opponent teams. And, as far as I can remember, he started this trend of talking about players who he wants at his club.

Does that mean that Laporta follows suit? Anyways Figo wanted to make the switch to Madrid.Where is the proof that Henry wants to move? And my problem is that Laporta is doing this after Henry has committed himself to the club and he s been offered a new contract.
Having said that Perez is not much better . As u point out.

I don't think Wenger has hit the self destruct button just yet. Although the fact he didn't make any changes to young Arsenal side against Bolton at the 65-70 minute mark baffles me. Some fresh legs is what we needed. Yet another defeat.
